A year of fire signs and thresholds.
January — Neptune returns.
The year opens in fire and dream. Mars ignites Aquarius while Neptune slips back into Aries for a stay it hasn’t made since 1862. What’s dissolving? What’s beginning to shimmer?
Mars enters Aquarius.
The year’s first big shift in drive and desire. Mars in Aquarius favors group efforts, unconventional strategy, and cause-driven action — picking fights on principle more than in personal territory.
Full Moon in Cancer.
A tender full moon opposite the Capricorn sun. Themes of home, lineage, and emotional inheritance rise to the surface. Where does the family story need re-writing?
New Moon in Capricorn.
A grounded lunation for the year’s architecture — not resolutions, structures. Best used for what you actually intend to maintain past February.
Neptune re-enters Aries.
A generational threshold. Neptune hasn’t entered Aries since 1862 — a moment historians remember as the beginning of the American Civil War era. Now, in a fire sign, the dreaming planet asks what visions of self and nation are worth dissolving to build.
February — the conjunction.
Saturn crosses into Aries and meets Neptune on the world’s first degree — the aspect the whole year has been building toward. Eclipse season opens.
Saturn re-enters Aries.
The taskmaster settles into fire for the next two-and-a-half years. Saturn in Aries asks what you’d build if no one assigned it to you — and how you’ll structure the courage to actually start.
Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius.
The final eclipse on the Leo–Aquarius axis before the nodes shift. A closing chapter for what these last eighteen months have asked about individuality, community, and the systems we belong to.
Saturn conjunct Neptune at 0° Aries.
The headline aspect of 2026. Structure meets dream on the zodiac’s first degree, a rare and pointed alignment last seen in 1989. Ground your visions or let go of what can’t survive contact with reality.
Mercury stations retrograde in Pisces.
The first of three water-sign Mercury retrogrades this year. Pisces retrograde tends toward foggy communication and vivid inner life — less about missed emails than about messages you didn’t know you were sending. Runs through March 20.
March — equinox in fire.
A total lunar eclipse in Virgo, Mercury turning direct, and the sun stepping into Aries with Saturn and Neptune waiting on the other side. The old year ends; something new insists on beginning.

A dramatic full-moon eclipse — the moon fully bathed in the earth’s red shadow. Virgo asks what daily practices, work, and habits of discernment need honest revision.
Mercury stations direct in Pisces.
Communication clears, though the post-shadow lingers into early April. Anything paused, revised, or reconsidered these last three weeks can now move.
Spring Equinox — Sun enters Aries.
The astrological new year opens onto a horizon crowded with fire — Neptune and Saturn already there, waiting. A season for beginning what only you can begin.
April — Uranus quickens.
Uranus re-enters Gemini, the sign it hasn’t occupied since the 1940s. Venus turns retrograde in Taurus. The nervous system of the collective goes electric.
Venus stations retrograde in Taurus.
The first of two Venus retrogrades this year, and the sensual one. Taurus retrograde revisits money, self-worth, and what you’ve built your comfort around. Not the season to sign a lease or start something new with your body. Runs through June 4.
Uranus re-enters Gemini.
The disruptor returns to the sign of speech, media, and moving information — where it last sat during the invention of the transistor. Expect a seven-year rewiring of how we talk to each other, and to machines.
May — a pause between chapters.
Fewer headline transits — a rare breath in a year of thresholds. Time to integrate what February and April cracked open.
Full Moon in Scorpio.
Beltane weekend’s full moon — a Scorpio lunation known for revelation. What’s been surfacing quietly since the March eclipse likely gets its first honest look here.
New Moon in Taurus.
With Venus still retrograde in the same sign, this is a lunation for review, not launch. Plant seeds for what you’re re-committing to, not what’s brand new.
June — Jupiter’s new house.
Chiron enters Taurus, Venus turns direct, and Jupiter closes its watery year in Cancer by moving into Leo — the sign of the sovereign, the artist, the child who insists on the spotlight.
Venus stations direct in Taurus.
Six weeks of reviewing love, worth, and comfort resolve into forward motion. Anything you renegotiated with yourself these last weeks now gets to be tested in the open.
Chiron enters Taurus.
The wounded healer moves into the sign of body, resource, and self-worth — a slow, tender transit that surfaces the material wounds under our spiritual language. Stays through September before retrograding back to Aries.
Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer.
The second water-sign Mercury retrograde. Cancer retrograde brings back conversations about home, family, and old wounds around belonging — often through people you thought you were done processing. Runs through July 23.
Jupiter enters Leo.
The abundance planet moves into the sign it hasn’t visited since 2014. A year of Leo Jupiter favors creative work made in public, expressive courage, and the specific joy of being seen doing something you love. Runs through mid-2027.
July — the nodes shift.
Mercury turns direct, Uranus meets Pluto in a rare trine, and the lunar nodes shift into a new eclipse axis — setting the tone for the next eighteen months of collective evolution.

Family conversations, old messages, and revisited feelings settle. Anything you needed to hear yourself say out loud, you’ve now said.
Lunar Nodes shift — North into Aquarius.
The great pivot. For the next eighteen months, the nodes ask us to move away from Leo’s personal spotlight toward Aquarius’s collective vision — and to release the Leo patterns that centered self over system. Eclipse themes rewrite.
Uranus trine Pluto.
A rare and largely constructive aspect between the two most disruptive planets. What was destabilized during their square in the 2010s now becomes something you can actually rebuild with. Perfects again in November.
August — eclipse season.
The most dramatic eclipse pair of the year, with a total solar eclipse in Leo followed two weeks later by a partial lunar eclipse in Pisces. The first eclipses on the new Aquarius–Leo axis.

The centerpiece eclipse of 2026. Visible across parts of Europe and the Arctic. Leo eclipses ask what you’re willing to be seen doing — and what you’ve been performing that you’re ready to stop. First eclipse on the new nodal axis.
Partial Lunar Eclipse in Pisces.
The second eclipse of the season, closing a chapter in dreams, sensitivity, and the porousness of self. Pisces asks what to keep letting in and what to finally build a shore against.
Jupiter trine Saturn.
Widely considered the year’s most fortunate aspect. Growth (Jupiter in Leo) and structure (Saturn in Aries) reach across the fire signs and align. The best window of 2026 for long-term commitments that need both vision and foundation.
September — Chiron doubles back.
A quieter month, mostly. Chiron slips back to Aries for its final chapter there before its stay in Taurus becomes permanent. A last visit to the wound that started this cycle.
Chiron retrogrades into Aries.
The wounded healer revisits the sign it’s occupied since 2018 — a chance to close, integrate, and grieve what the Aries chapter of your healing has been about before Chiron settles into Taurus for the long haul next year.
Fall Equinox — Sun enters Libra.
Balance season opens. With so much of the year’s astrology in fire signs, Libra offers the necessary counterweight — the reminder that no self exists outside of relationship.
October — Venus turns again.
The second Venus retrograde of the year begins — this time in Libra, then dipping into Scorpio. Relationships, aesthetics, and the terms of intimacy get another honest look.

The second Venus retrograde in one year is rare and worth paying attention to. Libra retrograde revisits the fairness of your closest relationships, the aesthetics you’ve built your life around, and the peace you’ve traded for. Runs through November 14.
Mercury stations retrograde in Scorpio.
The final and deepest Mercury retrograde of the year. Scorpio retrograde brings back conversations you’d hoped were finished — about power, money, sex, and everything held in secret. It rewards honesty and punishes performance. Runs through November 13.
November — the great return.
Both Venus and Mercury turn direct within days of each other. Uranus trines Pluto again. Two months of review resolve into clarity.
Mercury stations direct in Scorpio.
The last Mercury retrograde of the year ends. What resurfaced — the truths, the tensions, the necessary reckonings — can now be spoken plainly and moved through.
Venus stations direct in Libra.
Six weeks of relational review resolve, one day after Mercury. The rare Venus–Mercury double station makes mid-November one of the clearest windows for hard conversations this year.
Uranus trine Pluto (exact again).
The trine that first perfected in July now completes. What began to shift structurally over summer becomes something you can point to and name. The rebuilding after the 2010s squares takes visible shape.
December — Saturn steadies.
Saturn stations direct after months of retrograde. Jupiter begins its own retrograde and slows Leo’s expansion into reflection. The year closes on structure and integration.
Saturn stations direct in Pisces.
After months of review, the taskmaster resumes forward motion — briefly finishing its Pisces chapter before returning to Aries in early 2027. What you’ve been building can now be tested against the world.
Jupiter stations retrograde in Leo.
Growth turns inward. Jupiter retrograde in Leo asks what creative and expressive commitments you’ve made publicly that you now need to re-examine privately. Runs through April 2027.
New Moon in Sagittarius.
The year’s final new moon — a Sagittarius lunation for setting an intention with faith, not certainty. Where do you want to be pointed as the calendar turns?
Winter Solstice — Sun enters Capricorn.
The longest night, the return of light. Capricorn season closes the astrological year with the question of what structure — internal, relational, professional — is worth carrying into whatever comes next.
January 2027 — a new horizon.
The first breath of the next year: Venus into Scorpio, Mars turns retrograde in Leo, and Jupiter dips back into Cancer. The 2026 chapter ends and the next begins to speak.
Venus enters Scorpio.
The year opens with Venus in its most intense sign. Love, money, and desire get their deepest, most transformative colors. Bring honesty; nothing else will read.
Mars stations retrograde in Leo.
The first Mars retrograde since 2024 begins the year with a review of drive, creative direction, and public will. Leo asks what you’ve been performing versus what you actually want to make. Runs through April 1.
Jupiter retrogrades into Cancer.
The abundance planet steps back into the sign of home, lineage, and belonging — a final integration of what its 2025–2026 Cancer chapter offered before it fully commits to Leo. Family stories get one more careful reading.
